Privacy Policy
Effective October 24, 2026
RadShareAI is a viewer for medical images in the DICOM format. This policy explains what the app does with the images you put in it. In short: your images stay on your iPhone unless you choose to back them up or share them, and we don't track you.
Images on your iPhone
Images you import, the measurements and drawings you add, and the names and tags you give cases are stored on your iPhone. Imports from links, cloud drives, and network folders go straight from that source to your iPhone. The "From a Computer" option sends files over your own Wi-Fi network, directly from your computer to your iPhone.
Cloud backup
Backup is off until you use it. When you back up a case, its image files, the details stored in them (which can include the patient's name, ID, and birth date unless you anonymize the case first), and your annotations are uploaded to our cloud service, hosted by Convex, Inc. in the United States. Uploads are tied to a random key the app creates on your iPhone; there is no account, and we don't collect your name, email, or contact details. Deleting a case in the app deletes its cloud copy.
Share links
When you create a share link, anyone who has the link can view and download that case until the link expires (after 1 to 30 days, as you choose) or you turn it off. Share links are not listed or indexed. Shared JPEG key images are sent only through the app you choose, such as Messages or Mail.
Anonymizing
The app can remove the patient's name, ID, birth date, and other identifiers from a case's files. Text burned into the pixels of an image is not removed. Custom case names and tags stay on your iPhone and are never uploaded or shared.
What we don't do
- No advertising, analytics, or tracking, and no third-party SDKs that collect data.
- We don't sell or share your data, and we don't look at your images except as needed to keep the service running or when the law requires it.
Beta testing
This is pre-release software. During the beta, please use the included sample cases or anonymized images rather than identifiable patient data. RadShareAI is not a medical device and is not for diagnostic use.
Sample cases
The two sample cases are public, de-identified research images from The Cancer Imaging Archive, used under Creative Commons licenses. They contain no information about any user.
Changes and questions
We'll update this page if anything changes and note the new date above. For questions, use Send Beta Feedback in the TestFlight app, or the support contact on the app's App Store page.
